Background
OSG were commissioned by Ling Group to undertake a full architectural services package to develop a parcel of protected land in the village of Monkton into 9 dwellings. The land was formerly used for the grazing of horses.
Design Development and Planning
Owing to the protection of the ‘village gap’, we had to navigate a complex planning process that took over 2 years to resolve. OSG worked hard to achieve our client’s requirements, working closely with the planners to develop a scheme that was sympathetic to the area, but with a contemporary feel whilst ensuring that the village gap was retained.
